We start by auditing the current Excel files and identifying areas where Power Query can streamline data preparation, then we design a data model that meets the client's specific needs, and build the model using Power Query and Power Pivot. We also develop a set of reports and dashboards that provide key insights and KPIs, and configure row-level security to ensure that users only see the data they are authorized to access. Additionally, we provide training to the client's team on how to use and maintain the new model.

At the end of the project, the client has a fully functional and maintainable data model, a set of reports and dashboards that provide timely insights, and a short documentation of how the model is built. The client also receives commented DAX code and a 2-hour knowledge-transfer session to ensure a smooth handover.
